We teach practical skills that matter in real life, and my boarding program reinforces those habits with consistency, care, and plenty of positive attention.
About Matthew Irizarry
Hi, I’m Matt- a professional dog trainer based in Dripping Springs, Texas. Born and raised in San Antonio, my path has taken me from Chicago—where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Columbia College—to Nashville, and finally back home in the central Texas area. No matter where I lived, I always had a dog by my side.
Before becoming a trainer, I spent 10 years opening and operating restaurants in Nashville and Austin. Those years taught me how to lead, communicate, problem-solve, have patience and coach—skills that naturally transitioned into dog training. My passion truly grew after adopting my dog, Shea, which inspired me to dive deep into canine behavior and communication.
In 2022, I shifted into professional dog training and joined Off Leash K9 Training, where I received extensive hands-on instruction and eventually became the lead trainer for Austin and Central Texas. I also earned my certification through the American Kennel Club (AKC), further strengthening my foundation in proven training methods. After working with dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments, I chose to branch out and create a more personalized training experience for dogs and their families.
Today, I live on over an acre in Dripping Springs, giving your dog plenty of safe space to roam, explore, and enjoy the outdoors during their stay. Training dogs has become the most rewarding and fulfilling chapter of my life, and I’m honored to share that passion with every dog and owner I work with.

For puppies and new dogs = $100

-Lessons-
In-home/location: 5 lessons + refresher = $800
Puppy​: 4 lessons + refresher =$600

-Board and Train Programs-
*During these programs, your pup will learn all the basics and anything specific that will help them adjust to your lifestyle.
1 week = $1500
2 week = $2500
2 week (with E collar) = $2800
​-Boarding-
*Boarding with me, provides daily structure in a home environment, which also includes socializing, walks, meals and individual playtime.
(Must go through training or evaluation by me)

*Boarding =$60/night
(Includes socializing, walks, individual playtime or whatever is needed for the dog)

*Boarding with daily training = $100/day
(Can be mixed in with regular boarding days)

*Adventure Boarding = $120/day
(I take your pup to a park or anywhere requested, within the Dripping Springs area)
